Migration and Education Study Group (MigEdu) aims to advance the state of the art in migration and education research through original and innovative scholarship, academic collaboration, and dialogue between researchers, policy-makers, international organizations and civil society actors.
The aims of the MigEdu study group are:
- To encourage and support the sociological research in the nexus of immigration and education.
- To bring together researchers interested in various dimensions of immigration and education to generate and consolidate both theoretical knowledge and empirical data.
- To increase both theoretical knowledge and empirical data on immigration and education processes in the Global South.
- To facilitate networking and discussion through organized activities
- To support graduate students and researchers from Koç University and other universities, who are engaing with immigration and education.
